Do you need to maximize your small space? We all can relate to needing more space for lifes trappings. In my case its what to do with shoes - they seem to be everywhere. We have a shoes off policy in our houseand hence shoes live downstairs as appose to upstairs in the wardrobe.  

You dont have to be Imedla Marcos, with a growing family, shoes for all occasions seem to take over the house.

Are you on trend?

Following one interior design theme throughout the home can create a cohesive look. That doesn’t mean that you need the same exact colours, wallpaper etc in every room, but sticking to one overriding interior theme will look more harmonious.

Play with elements like colour and texture but if you choose an industrial theme for the living room furniture then make a nod to the industrial look in the adjoining rooms – i.e. industrial dining chairs and or lighting features.

Placing a mirror in the correct place in a room allows you to optimise natural light - using reflection mirrors naturally bounce light from its source to another surface. Use this in an elongated space that is darker at one end -strategically placed mirrors bounce light into the darker areas. Top Tip: Be aware if a mirror is placed opposite a dark painted or papered wall then that is what it will show in its reflection.
